Our Mission
The Heihoef farmers’ mission is to deliver top quality pork meat with the best possible care for the animals and their surroundings. Heihoef means tasty and healthy pork meat from traceable sources at an affordable price.
Our Vision
Heihoef is an organisation of motivated farmers who jointly promote healthy (pork) meat from farmer to consumer. We use sustainable production methods for the benefit of people, animals and the environment.

Our brands
Heihoef provides pork meat from the Duroc breed under the Heyde Hoeve and Hoevenaer brands. With these brands Heihoef can respond to consumer demand for tasty, healthy and reliable pork meat from reliable sources.
Hoevenaer
We supply Duroc pigs to the retail sector on a private label basis. Hoevenaer is one of these labels. Our pigs live in our farmers’ pigsties in the Peel area of Brabant, and these fulfil the 1 star Beter Leven (Better Life) conditions.
In addition we have specified additional requirements that are detailed in our own manual. Our farmers are passionate and search out the balance between the various aspects of sustainability for people, animals and the environment.
